Chris has extensive experience in strategic public policy analysis and advice. He has a deep understanding of the political climate and has an expertise in stakeholder engagement, campaigning and strategic communications.
Chris has recently returned to Govstrat after 18 months working in agriculture. He has worked at senior levels in government as a Chief of Staff for a Federal Member of Parliament. Chris was an elected official of the Queensland ALP and has been involved in numerous political and policy campaigns in Queensland and across Australia for the Australian Labor Party at the grassroots and strategic level.
Having worked at the national level for many years, Chris enjoys a deep understanding of political and policy issues at the State and Commonwealth levels.
Chris has an interest in labour relations policy and strategy and spent several years as an official of large trade unions.
Chris has a Bachelor of Education, a Masters of Public Policy and is a published author.
